Etsy may have gone public this year, but its team insists nothing about the office's culture has changed. “Looking around, you can feel that it’s very Etsy," said Sarah Starpoli, manager of culture and engagement. Very Etsy indeed: every desk is handmade, and employees decorate spaces with items made by Etsy sellers. Murals painted by team members cover the walls, and "crafternoons" are hosted in the Etsy Labs. The company also prides itself on its sustainability; weekly "Eatsy" community meals are sourced with seasonal ingredients.
