Fear No Fruit - Trailer

Fear No Fruit is a grasping story of Frieda Caplan, “The Queen of Kiwi”, who revolutionized the fruit industry of America. The first woman to successfully manage and grow a Los Angeles wholesale produce business to one of the largest and most impactful players in the industry, Frieda introduced more than 200 exotic fruits and vegetables to the U.S. Against the odds of a male-dominated industry, Frieda was able to make her mark with the introduction of the Kiwifruit in 1962, followed by other notable introductions, forever changing the supermarket produce department, as well as the American diet. Through interviews with industry notables, restaurateurs, and close family and friends, Fear No Fruit paints a vivid picture of Frieda, a woman who is still tirelessly working at the healthy age of 91.
