GE’s Steinman Says Digital Health Still Early in the Game

Justin Steinman, chief marketing officer for GE Healthcare IT, a $1.8 billion division of GE Healthcare, shares the giant’s view of the rising Digital Healthcare world. Interviewee Bio: Justin Steinman is chief marketing officer for GE Healthcare IT, a $1.8 billion division of GE Healthcare. In this role, he has responsibility for all marketing activities across GE Healthcare’s portfolio of Integrated Care software solutions. Integrated Care Solutions bring together data from across the health care delivery network to generate actionable insights that help improve clinical, financial, and operational outcomes. GE Healthcare IT offers five categories of Integrated Care Solutions: enterprise imaging, financial management, population health management, care delivery management, and workforce management. Prior to his current role, Justin served as VP and general manager for Clinical Business Solutions, a $500 million division of GE Healthcare IT. Justin joined GE in January 2011 as the marketing leader for Clinical Business Solutions, and has also served as the CMO for GE Healthcare Performance Solutions. Prior to joining GE Healthcare, Justin spent seven years at Novell in a variety of roles, including vice president of solution and product marketing. Earlier in his career, Justin worked at a venture-backed supply chain software start-up, and at Accenture, where he implemented SAP for Fortune 500 companies around the globe. Justin holds a masters in business administration from the MIT Sloan School of Management with a focus in new product and venture development. He graduated Dartmouth College, Phi Beta Kappa and summa cum laude, with a dual degree in English and History. He lives outside of Boston, with his wife, Tammy, and their four young children.
