Media, Quoted Tweets to Stop Counting Vs. 140-Character Limit Sept. 19 (Report)

Reports first surfaced in May that certain types of media attachments would “soon” no longer count toward Twitter’s 140-character limit, and now it appears that “soon” is Sept. 19. The Verge reported that starting Sept. 19, media attachments—photos/images, GIFs, videos, polls—and quoted tweets will no longer count against the 140-character limit.Read the full article
