So here is a little mini-series that will look into ways you can save money on your PPC campaign, code named ‘Save PPC Budget by’ (I know, it’s original). There is a general problem with PPC articles online that people concentrate too much about getting lots of clicks, lots of ad impressions and so on.
Truth of the matter, I have suffered with bad search engine optimization around 5 years ago. The main reason for this was the fact that I was relatively new to how the online industry works, how search engines such as Google works and so on. Therefore, it took a lot of mistakes to realize what made an article get ranked high on search engines and what didn’t.
Written by: Chandana Das When you discuss digital marketing, there is one thing that you can never get away from: SEO. SEO remains dominant in the digital marketing world. People use Google and other search engines as their gateway to the web to find answers and solutions, and this is not going to change.
The last PPC campaign I analysed in the ‘Analyse A Real PPC Campaign’ was blackcircles.com who had a very good PPC campaign in general: both the search advert and landing page was well optimized in many different ways. For this article, I will be looking into the comparison market – it seems that the comparison market for things such as car insurance, home insurance and so on h ...
Let’s be honest. Unfortunately, Adsense is becoming a source of revenue that is getting harder to optimize for many reasons. The types of adverts that can be used, size of them and location are all expanding to give publishers more freedom – with more freedom comes more optimization, though. This is quite a depressive view on Adsense.
So already I have looked into ways advertisers of pay per click advertising can create a great title and description for a PPC search advert. From this, the last area of the search advert to look at is the URL or domain of it. For most advertisers, they will not take much time when it comes to brainstorming and optimizing the URL section of the advert…this is wrong! The URL sec ...
The last PPC campaign I analysed in the ‘Analyse A Real PPC Campaign’ series was by Sky, who had what could only be described as an ‘okay’ advert – the interesting area came with the landing page which was a hybrid between a product/service page and a click through page. With the weather getting colder (depending on where you live), it is that time of year when the frost starts ...
The search advert for pay per click advertising is the most used structure for an advert and there is good reason for this too. They are easy to create and are the only adverts that can be displayed for search engine results (whereas image/flash adverts can only be displayed on publisher websites). Already I have looked into how to create a great title for a PPC search advert.
Let’s be honest. When it comes to creating and running a pay per click advertising campaign, the majority of advertisers will focus their efforts on the ‘campaign’ side to it. This generally means people forget about the critical part after the campaign which is where the conversion takes place: the landing page.
It can be seen by many advertisers that the title of a pay per click advertising search advert is one of the most important elements of the whole campaign (you would not have thought it)! This is because it is the first part fo the whole PPC campaign that interacts with the web user. Therefore, a bad title to a search advert will have lost the attention of contextual traffic al ...

While this is important for all businesses, reevaluating your current strategies is especially important for businesses that live or die on the Internet, and with PPC particularly.
When it comes to starting a website, it is commonly thought that all you have to do is create a website with a program such as Blogger or WordPress, start writing articles and those articles will start to appear on search engines such as Google, Yahoo and Bing. Unfortunately, website creations are not as simple as that.
First things first, happy new year from PPC.org! The start of 2016 often ushers in a flood of New Year’s resolutions in a way for people to improve themselves and achieve something for the new year. This is also a great time of year to look back on the last year, as an advertiser, and change a few things about your approach to PPC so that you are that bit more successful during 2016.
One of the hot rumors of 2014 is that a “linkless SEO” is coming in the future, but that’s not going to be a reality anytime soon. While some professionals are leaning more on other SEO tactics, you shouldn’t underestimate the power of good links in your overall strategy. A solid link-building strategy is still considered by SEO algorithms as an integral part of your online pe ...
