October 26, 2017 AdWords introduced their new site-wide tagging this month. Like Bing’s Universal Event Tracking, the new AdWords site-wide tagging uses one tag on the entire site with additional event snippets to track conversion actions. The global site tag (gtag.js) will also be used for Google Analytics in the future.
November 3, 2017 As we all know, the longer it takes to load a page, the lower the conversion rate will be. One of the bigger time sucks for a landing page load is the tracking redirects. The tracking loads before the page and if the tracking is loading slowly there is a much higher chance the customer bounces.
October 6, 2017 Hold on to your hats PPC’ers, as Google has announced a big update to AdWords Daily Budgets. As of October 4th, campaigns will be able to spend up to two times the average daily budget. This means on occasion, Google will over-deliver your ads, causing your account to overspend up to twice your set daily budget in the account.
