The site has been online since November 1997.BabyCenter L.L.C. is owned by Johnson & Johnson, the main sponsor on the site. BabyCenter has a policy of maintaining a clear separation between advertising content and medically approved health content. Users of the website can sign up for free weekly email newsletters that guide them through pregnancy and their child's development.
