Bill Graham Civic Auditorium

The Bill Graham Civic Auditorium (formerly San Francisco Civic Auditorium) is a multi-purpose arena in San Francisco, California, currently named after promoter Bill Graham. The arena holds 6,000 people and was built in 1915 as part of the Panama–Pacific International Exposition.The 1920 Democratic National Convention was held in the hall and it was the former home of the Golden State Warriors, of the NBA, from 1964 to 1966.The arena has hosted concerts by many famous artists, spanning many different genres. It is owned by the City of San Francisco and operated by Another Planet Entertainment.
