Marketing Week is a magazine focused on the marketing industry in the UK. The magazine is based in London.The magazine is owned by the LSE-listed company Centaur Media plc. Among the senior staff are Publishing Director Sarah Gilchriest and Editor Ruth Mortimer. Its circulation is approximately 40,000, with around 30,000 of those accounted for by controlled circulation. ABC primary circulation for 2009 was 36,619.Marketing Week was launched in March 1978. Its co-founders were Michael Chamberlain, a former editor of the advertising journal Campaign, and Anthony Nares, an entrepreneur who set up Marketing Week Communications Ltd shortly before the launch.
