Periscope launched three new features designed to help users connect on the live-streaming platform. First, a new Superfans feature will now show a broadcaster their 10 most engaged viewers, or Superfans. With this feature, Periscope said, “Broadcasters can get more insight into their biggest fans and create more meaningful relationships with them.

Specifically, when users are watching broadcasts on Periscope.tv, they can click the share button in the bottom-left corner of the broadcast screen to load the “Share Broadcast” menu.
Periscope released an update for its website, which puts a large focus on curated channels. With this update, users can browse featured curated channels based on specific topics or events, such as “Police, Race and America” or “NFL: Road to Super Bowl 51.” Users can also browse curated channels based on hashtags such as #Food, #Music or #Talk, among others.
