Back when I had my hands full juggling a lot of active websites, a number of people suggested that I hire a VA, or virtual assistant, to help me with menial tasks so that I could focus on the bigger picture. Later on, when I got busy with affiliate marketing, people once again suggested the same thing – although at the time I was easily adamant against doing so as I didn’t wan ...
A year and a half ago I decided to try becoming a seller on Fiverr out of monetary desperation. 18 months later, I am now a Level 2 seller with a flawless rating and have made $9,000 CAD from Fiverr as a seller, $1,800 of which was made just a couple of months ago for an average of $60/day. I did this by creating a new gig account for a skill of which I am actually not very skilled.
I recently blogged about how I became a freelancer on Fiverr in an attempt to bring in some extra cash to pay the bills. I have been a seller on Fiverr for 1.5 years now and have earned just under $10,000 CAD during that time. In this post, I will outline the major pros and cons of using Fiverr as a freelancer (seller), in case you’re thinking of joining but are still on the fence.
So my 30 posts have all been completed and I haven’t posted in 2 weeks. “Ah shit, not again. Is he going to abandon us for another 1.5 years again?” Well, I thought about it, and despite my blog not resurrecting like I had hoped it would, it did show some growth, and so I decided to do exactly what I did bef ...
On February 13th, 2016, I published a blog post only to suddenly disappear from my blog without warning for 1.5 years. I already discussed why this was the case numerous times, but basically it was due to a combination of health issues and simply being tired of blogging for over a decade. I returned on July 23rd, 2017, with an announcement that I was back.
I have made a number of recent posts about Fiverr lately, but they have all been about being a Seller on Fiverr. I am also a Buyer on Fiverr, and actually highly recommend it. When I first heard of Fiverr, I used to scoff at the idea of hiring somebody there. After all, what type of quality could you really get for only $5? At the time, I was used to hiring top-notch talent t ...
Now that I’ve shared what I’ve been up to the past 1.5 years, what does my average day look like now? After all, I’ve tried a lot of things to try to make money including dog-sitting, taking care of international students, running an Airbnb, and becoming a freelancer on Fiverr to name a few. Well, my “average” day has changed a lot over the past 18 months, so it could easily c ...
Back when I was new on Fiverr as a freelancer, I was trying to think of ideas for other gigs. I used to do very novice-level programming back in the day, with languages such as Visual Basic and Perl (we’re talking about 2 decades ago now), and while I never learned anything beyond a very basic level, I did enjoy the logical thought process behind programming.
